Ben Moloney - USA
Ben Moloney, a Florida Keys flats fishing guide, and devoted saltwater fly tyer, discovered his passion for fly fishing through his older brother, leading him to an ardent pursuit of bonefish on the saltwater flats. His obsession with crafting effective flies that entice the elusive species of the flats inspired the birth of "Grateful Fly Fishing," a platform that fosters connection among fellow fly fishermen and enthusiasts, allowing him to share his saltwater fly concepts. Ben currently resides in Summerland Key Florida where he divides his time between sitting at the vice and standing on a poling platform, he is always Grateful to spend so much time doing what he loves and showing others the thrill of flats fishing.
Al Simson - Australia
Based in tropical Cairns, Al has been tying flies commercially on and off for the last 40 years and been guiding for the last 30 years. Originally for BC , Canada he made the move to the tropics of Australia to chase his dream of guiding and fishing in the tropics. Al Has spent the last 20 years guiding up on Cape York and the Northern Territory and tying saltwater flies for clients and fellow guides. Dennis Gamboa - Canada
Dennis Gamboa is a professional tyer who has dedicated his life to the art of fly tying. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, he has become a renowned figure in the fishing community of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Not only has he produced over 60,000 flies a year through his local business, The Fly Box, but he also teaches fly tying classes to enthusiasts of all levels.One of Dennis's greatest strengths lies in his ability to create innovative and original fly patterns. His love for tying warm water salt patterns is evident in his work, but he is equally skilled in crafting trout and salmon flies for local fly shops. His expertise has been recognized by Swing Magazine and BC Outdoors Magazine, where he has been featured for his unique takes on both current and timeless fly patterns. He has been featured along with very prominent tiers in the book “ The Art of Fishing Fly ” by Toni Lolli.
Dennis's passion for fly tying extends beyond his own creations. He is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and techniques with others, which is why he has been teaching fly tying classes for over 25 years. His commercial techniques are highly regarded and sought after by tyers of all levels. Through his classes, he not only imparts his skills but also inspires others to explore their own creativity at the bench.
In addition to his local success, Dennis has also made a name for himself on a global scale. He belongs to several PRO Teams world wide and has even designed for Aqua/Flies, a prestigious position that further solidifies his expertise in the field.
When he’s not chasing fish in local waters his expeditions take him to the pristine waters of Christmas Island to the breathtaking Maldives, Mexico, and Hawaii, Dennis has dedicated himself to chasing permit, GT,blue fin, bonefish, and triggers.

Tobias Hellman is a custom fly tier with 30 years of fly fishing and fly tying experience. The main focus is tying flies for the flats and pelagics. Living on the coast in Qld, Australia, really gives him the opportunity to live and breathe saltwater fly fishing. I’m Wesley and I’m a sophomore at Texas A&M Corpus Christi studying Business Management with a minor in entrepreneurship. When I’m not studying for my next test, I’m working hard tying custom orders. I have been tying since I was a junior in high school and my favourite fish to target is the Redfish! Dave Aldous is a retired Coast Guard helicopter pilot who resides in Tampa Bay, Florida and is a dedicated fly tier and saltwater fly fisherman. His passion for fishing started as a kid in the Southern Adirondack Park of upstate New York where he spent many days catching trout. In 2012 he was introduced to saltwater fly fishing and he immediately become obsessed with tying flies and sight casting to fish on the flats.
